CPE KMUTT Students Receive Research Grant from Brain Bridge Lab for Mayura Project

The Computer Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), congratulates the student team behind Mayura, which has received a THB 30,000 research grant under the BBL Phase 1 Research Support Program (Levels 1 and 2) from Brain Bridge Lab. The grant will support the further development of this innovative project at the intersection of technology and healthcare.

About Mayura

Mayura is a Thai imagined-speech electroencephalography (EEG) decoding system designed to support communication for individuals who have lost the ability to speak. The project aims to translate brainwave patterns associated with imagined Thai speech into communicable information, exploring new possibilities for assistive communication technology and improving the quality of life of people with speech impairments.
