High Performance Computing Cluster

High Performance Computing Cluster

The Department of Computer Engineering and the Software Innovation and Computing Center (Innosoft), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, have developed a High Performance Computing Cluster (HPC Cluster) to support research, innovation, and educational activities that require high-performance computing resources.

The system is designed to support complex and resource-intensive workloads, including parallel computing, large-scale data analysis, engineering simulation, artificial intelligence applications, as well as software development and testing in a multi-node environment. The cluster is managed by SLURM, enabling efficient and fair allocation of computing resources among users.

This cluster is designed to support both CPU and GPU-based workloads, together with centralized storage for collaborative work within the cluster environment. It is well suited for faculty members, researchers, and students who require high-performance computing infrastructure for knowledge creation, research, and advanced technology projects.

This system is open to:

  • Faculty members and researchers
  • Undergraduate and graduate students
  • Students working on senior projects or theses that require high computing resources
  • Learners in courses related to HPC, Cloud, AI, Data Engineering, and Systems Engineering
